Ridden Everywhere.
Originally created in 2017 as a YouTube channel by Pro Kite-surfer Reece Myerscough, Shred Lab began as a platform for sharing fresh ideas in surf, kite, and wing board product design. The focus was on showcasing early-stage concepts and documenting the process of testing and refining each product until it was ready for market.
Today, several of those early innovations—ranging from kite release systems to wing handle setups and quick-release leash components—are in production and used globally by several leading international brands.
Shred Lab also played a pivotal role in the early development of ALUULA composites fabrics, providing key feedback and testing for the original composite materials.
Other Shred Lab projects include the design of directional surfboards, twin-tip kiteboards, foot pad systems, kite control bar safety mechanisms, quick release leashes and the refinement of adjustable, interchangeable wing-foiling handles.
